Wandering through the buildings of Leibniz Universität Hannover at night and discovering exciting exhibits and lots of hands-on activities? That was possible on September 21, 2024 at the Mechanical Engineering Campus in Garbsen! From materials science and assembly technology to thermodynamics, everything was there – and we were right in the middle of it all!
We had our stand in the halls of the Institute for Mechatronic Systems (imes) and were able to demonstrate individual functions of our robots, in particular dribbling and kicking. Due to the many components we had brought with us, the focus was clearly on our hardware, but many questions were also asked about the software, for example what those colorful dots on the robot’s shell are for. A video with clips from the last RoboCups showed our robots in action.
All in all, it was a very successful event that brought many different people together and taught them new things!
