2014 - 2024

What was it about?

Our @work team worked on developing an autonomous mobile robot to take part in the RoboCup. The robot was able to work autonomously in an environment and had the task of traveling to work sites to detect and sort the objects present there. Pre-determined objects also had to be picked up and brought to the correct location. In the competition, the work sites have different levels of difficulty, which challenge the participants again and again. Therefore, all important topics of modern robotics were covered, such as dynamic and safe manipulation, autonomous navigation, SLAM (simultaneous positioning and mapping), computer vision and new sensor technology.

After numerous participations in various competitions, the team disbanded in 2024.
