For the RoboCup Soccer Small Size League, we have been developing autonomous soccer robots that compete in duels against other teams since 2019. For the whole thing to work, our little friends not only have to be well-positioned in terms of hardware, but also have to act strategically and intelligently in terms of software.
The RoboCup @Work League is located in the setting of industrial logistics. Problems and tasks in this field of robotics are solved in a small form factor. The omnidirectionally moving robot platforms used in the league are equipped with a robotic arm and sensors to recognize the environment. They have to execute transportation tasks fully automatically in the shortest amount of time possible.
