On September 10th 2024, the Robotics Meetup took place in the afternoon at Leibniz Universität Hannover in the new research building “scale” (An der Universität 2, 30823 Garbsen)!
The topic of this Meetup was current research in robotics at Leibniz University and the resulting transfer potential to industry. As part of a panel discussion with Tobias Ortmaier, Barbara Möhlmann, Annika Raatz, Thomas Seel and Norbert Steinkemper, the future prospects of robotics research were discussed and there was also a lot of robotics to discover. The topic was brought to life and we set up our small playing field and exhibited our robots, for example. At the end, there was a convivial barbecue where we were able to talk about what we had heard and seen.
