π 7th and 16th of October 2025
π luhbots Lab
At the beginning of October, the new mechanical engineering and computer science students visited us in our laboratory as part of a series of rallies to get to know us and our work.
In addition to the mechanical and electronic components built into our robots, they were also able to examine and even test our software and the strategy running in the background: In a 1-on-1 match, the students competed against an autonomous robot, with a goal earning them two points and a goal against them costing them one point. The goal: to reach 10 points! While the mechanical engineers also brought along a mechanical question to be answered (How many small wheels does an omniwheel in our current generation of robots have?), the computer scientists were primarily interested in our software and strategy.
All in all, it was two successful and fun afternoons β we very much hope to see some of these friendly faces again at our kick-off on November 12!
