Robot friends watch out!
We are the luhbots, the student robotics team at Leibniz Universität Hannover! We work on fully autonomous football robots alongside our studies. Every year we take part in national and international competitions in the Soccer Small Size League with these robots.
In 2023, for example, we fought our way to second place in Division B at the RoboCup in Bordeaux, the World Robotics Championship. This meant that in 2024, we were able to compete in Division A – the ‘top flight’ – for the first time at the RoboCup in Eindhoven. And this year, we even took part in the RoboCup in South Korea!
Why we do what we do: We want to prepare students for professional life by combining theoretical study content with industry-related practice. Our work is characterised by teamwork, commitment and fun!
