Want to spend a week during the Easter and fall vacations getting to know exciting projects in the fields of mathematics, science and technology? This is possible in the Gauß-AG, which is offered every year by the Leibniz School of Education at Leibniz Universität Hannover. The aim is to look beyond the confines of school and give pupils practical access to the world of different subject areas: Mechanical engineering, computer science, civil engineering, geodesy, physics, mathematics, biology – the list is long.
This year was also the first time that we took part as a project and were able to present our robots to young explorers in grades five to seven. Of course, it didn’t stop at the theory and everyone had the opportunity to compete against an autonomous robot in a one-on-one game, challenge each other in robot football and take a close look at the inner workings and software of the robots – a good atmosphere guaranteed!
You can find more information about the Gauß-AG on the corresponding pages of the uniKIK school projects!
