Robotics team of the Leibniz University Hanover

We, the college robotics team of the Leibniz University Hanover, have been founded in 2012. We combine theoretical studies with practical experience, by taking part in the international robotic competition "RoboCup". We participate in two different leagues: @work and soccer. We are always eager to learn more.

Soccer

Since 2019 we have been working on our new branch “soccer”, so we can also compete in the RoboCup Soccer Small Size League. The goal is to develop a fully autonomous robot team which is capable of playing soccer against other competitors in a
6 vs. 6 match. We plan to partake in the upcoming tournament in Bordeaux.

@Work

The RoboCup @Work League is located in the setting of industrial logistics. Problems and tasks in this field of robotics are solved in a small form factor. The omnidirectionally moving robot platforms used in the league are equipped with a robotic arm and sensors to recognize the environment. They have to execute transportation tasks fully automatically in the shortest amount of time possible.
